Legal Counsel CU Andinos

At Syngenta our goal is to build the most collaborative and trustworthy team in agriculture providing top-quality seeds and innovative crop protection solutions that improve farmers success. To support this mission Syngentas Legal Team is seeking a Legal Counsel CU Andinos in Bogota Colombia. 

Accountabilities 

• Act as Legal Business Partner for Syngentas business in Andeans Commercial Unit (Chile Colombia Venezuela Peru Ecuador).
• Prepare review and negotiate agreements in several areas including distribution supply services and sales agreements.
• Deliver pragmatic legal solutions for both strategic initiatives and routine operational matters.
• Provide specialized guidance on competition law compliance and commercial practices including the structuring of customer loyalty programs and promotional activities.
• Monitoring and analyzing critical new legislation and regulations that may impact the business or its reputation.
• Working with other members of the Legal team in Andeans and in LATAM to develop and optimize systems and processes for effectiveness aiming efficiency and collaboration. Specially spearhead the adoption and expansion of digital tools and legal technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency (e.g. Onit AI Tools) streamline workflows and modernize legal service delivery. Promote a culture of digital transformation in legal practice.
• Drive action and unlock problems without creating disruption and while defending recommendations throughout the company.
• Oversee the Legal departments administrative operations including management of external counsel relationships processing of legal invoices and coordination with legal service providers.
• Integrate into a dynamic legal team structure with clearly defined responsibilities while maintaining flexibility to provide cross-functional support and backup coverage fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Qualifications :

Required  

• Lawyer Degree. Masters Degree is a plus.
• Minimum experience of 3  years as a Legal corporate advisor.
• Advanced English.
