Job Summary
The mission of the Legal Counsel is to provide comprehensive legal support to Doctoralias operations in Colombia ensuring proper contractual corporate and regulatory compliance especially in matters of data privacy and consumer protection supporting business teams with a practical preventive and solution-oriented approach.
Functions
- Drafting reviewing and negotiating all types of contracts and agreements with clients suppliers and business partners (including NDAs service agreements SaaS among others).
- Support in corporate matters including drafting meeting minutes granting and revoking powers of attorney and complying with corporate obligations.
- Preparation review and/or localization of terms and conditions privacy policies legal notices and other contractual documentation applicable to the companys various products and services as well as campaigns promotional activities and commercial materials.
- Review and legal validation of external communications and marketing materials including advertising campaigns and promotional content ensuring compliance with applicable regulations (especially in the areas of consumer protection and health regulation where applicable) and mitigating legal and reputational risks.
- Support in regulatory compliance particularly in the areas of personal data protection and consumer law.
- General legal advice and support to the different areas of the company (sales product marketing people finance operations among others) with a practical preventive and solution-oriented approach.
- Coordination and follow-up with external law firms as required.
- Support on labor issues in coordination with People and external advisors when necessary.
Qualifications :
- Between 4 and 6 years of experience as an organizational lawyer.
- Experience in contracts and consumer law.
- Law professional with a valid professional license in Colombia.
- Advanced English (conversational and written) Required
