Our Drive the Future Program participants will join the JPMorganChase team in Colombia and will receive several trainings & coaching to develop professional skills while experiencing our inclusive culture led by our principles: Service Hearth Curiosity Courage and Excellence. This is a full-time intern role.

In this opportunity the Legal Department specifically the Office of the Secretary (OTS) plays a crucial role in ensuring effective governance of JPM legal entities and Colombia OTS provides governance support to local JPM entities managing board and committee meetings corporate filings reports and offering legal advice on regulatory matters. As a Legal OTS - Intern within the Subsidiary Corporate Governance team you will have the opportunity to develop your professional skills in a dynamic and inclusive environment. You will be involved in coordinating meetings reviewing legal documents analyzing legal reforms drafting minutes completing corporate filings and reports and assisting in special projects. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the financial system stock exchange corporate and banking law.

Job responsibilities:

  • Coordinating meetings of the main corporate governance bodies.
  • Reviewing legal documents such as opinions and powers of attorney.
  • Analyzing legal reforms and regulatory proposals that impact the corporate structure and obligations of the firm in Colombia.
  • Drafting minutes of board of directors auditcommittee and annual shareholder meetings.
  • Completing corporate filings and reports as requested by internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assisting in other special projects as may be assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements:

  • Advanced law school students or recently graduated from law school.
  • Advanced English level.
  • Knowledge of MS Office package and
  • Interested in corporate governance and financial regulation.
