Legal Counsel Colombia & Ecuador
The opportunity
You will join the legal team supporting Colombia and Ecuador. You will guide business units through contract matters and protect the company from legal risks. You will partner with commercial operational and support teams. You will analyze complex contracts and participate in negotiations. You will help improve legal processes and support compliance across the organization. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve legal questions. You will grow your expertise in corporate commercial and regulatory topics
How youll make an impact
Support business units through the full contract lifecycle.
Review draft and structure contracts and legal documents.
Provide legal opinions and guidance to internal stakeholders.
Analyze complex customer and supplier contracts.
Lead or support complex negotiations.
Address legal questions from business and support functions.
Identify and mitigate legal risks.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and rules.
Deliver legal training to business teams.
Manage litigation and disputes with external law firms.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.
Your background
Bachelors degree in Law and license to practice in Colombia.
Minimum five years of experience.
Experience in contract negotiation corporate and commercial matters.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
High integrity and strong ethical values.
Businessminded and solutionoriented.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
Residing in Bogotá.
