Job Summary
This position will contribute to the day-to-day activities and special projects on the Vendor Master Maintenance team. The purpose of the Summer Internship Program is to provide professional development/experience to individuals within their field of study by exposure to the business environment of a large corporation.
This program is scheduled to begin in May of 2026 and end around August of 2026. This role will report to the Sherwin-Williams Global Headquarters located at 1 Sherwin Way Cleveland OH 44113.
Because this role involves access to confidential financial information the Company has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and to provide similar protections for its clients and potential investments.
Responsibilities
Perform maintenance on vendor records
Assist with processing supplier requests daily
Review and solve record discrepancies
Assist internal and external customers on processes
Validate vendor banking updates
Provide support for annual compliance
Assist with special projects
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Candidates must be working towards an Associate or Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or other business related field from an accredited institution with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Must by 18 years of age or older
- Must be available to work approximately 37.5 hours/week during the summer of 2026
- Some travel to other locations meetings and/or seminars is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel) experience
