Assistant Manager Health Analytics supports the Senior Manager Health Analytics in providing data-driven insights and solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the health insurance business. This role assists in conducting analysis and implementing operational improvements. The Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in enhancing reporting efficiency collaborating with stakeholders and ensuring compliance with regulations. He/ she also contributes to the implementation of advanced analytics capabilities and support the overall data-driven decision-making process.Job Responsibilities:
1. Health Analytics & Insights
- Perform exploratory data analysis on health and claims data to identify trends risks and improvement opportunities.
- Support health portfolio monitoring through trend analysis segmentation and performance tracking.
- Apply statistical and analytical techniques to support business insights and operational decisions.
2. Dashboarding & Reporting Automation
- Design build and maintain automated dashboards using Power BI.
- Develop standardised KPI reporting for Health Operations and Claims.
- Migrate manual reports into governed automated and refreshstable reporting solutions.
3. Data Preparation & Automation
- Support data preparation transformation and validation for analytics use cases.
- Automate data cleansing and matching processes to improve data quality and reporting efficiency.
- Work with IT and data engineering teams to align analytics outputs with enterprise data platforms.
4. Monitoring & Exception Tracking
- Develop and maintain basic anomaly detection or exceptionbased monitoring to identify unusual health or claims patterns.
- Support operational monitoring through alerts thresholds or exception dashboards.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with Claims Health Operations Finance and Product teams to translate business requirements into analytics deliverables.
- Prepare analytical summaries and visual insights to support management discussions and decisionmaking.
Job Requirements:
- 36 years of experience in data analytics business intelligence or operational analytics.
- Handson experience delivering analytics solutions in a production or BAU environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python (or equivalent analytics languages).
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI Tableau or Looker.
- Solid foundation in data cleaning data wrangling and validation.
- Exposure to cloudbased data platforms (e.g. GCP Azure AWS or equivalent).
- Preferred
- Experience in health insurance claims or operational analytics.
- Exposure to automation anomaly detection A/B testing or text analytics.
- Familiarity with working in crossfunctional datadriven teams.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Attention to data accuracy and quality
- Ability to translate data into clear insights
- Collaborative and stakeholderoriented mindset
