Executive Assistant()
The appointee is expected to provide general administrative support to the Centres programmes and projects.
Responsibilities:
- Providing administrative support for credit-bearing courses and related activities;
- Handling confidential files and correspondences;
- Preparing monitoring and keeping the budget related to credit-bearing courses and Centre activities;
- Delivering front-line support services to and liaising with staff students or external bodies;
- Keeping record of instructional hours and course evaluations; compiling data for statistical analyses and reports;
- Overseeing logistical arrangements in the office such as managing keys and classroom access for new colleagues; and
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Possess a recognised bachelors degree with preferably three years of post-qualification work experience in the tertiary education sector;
- Have excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Chinese (including Putonghua) as well as good hands-on computer skills;
- Be organised efficient highly motivated and have the ability to work independently; and solid analytical skills and strong interpersonal skills are required for the post; and
- Demonstrate strong work ethic responsibility attention to detail and self-motivation to improve.
Applicants are required to write a cover letter in English detailing how they meet the job requirements and fill in the application form. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test in English and Chinese.
The initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of one to two years. Renewal of contract is subject to mutual agreement performance review and funding availability.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
