About the Role

An international insurance and financial servicestechnology environment is looking for an IT Operations / Cloud DevOpsEngineer to join its IT Infrastructure & Production Servicesteam in Portugal.

This role sits at the core of an Agile and DevOps-drivenorganization acting as a guardian of Production stabilitythroughout the entire application lifecycle. You will work closely with developmentteams production support and infrastructure stakeholders ensuring that productionsecurity and scalability requirements are embedded from design todeployment.

This is a highly impactful role combining CloudInfrastructure DevOps IT Operations and Production Engineering ideal forprofessionals who thrive in complex mission-critical environments.

Your Mission

• Act as a key contributor to Production readiness across projects and products
• Integrate infrastructure and production requirements into solution design and product backlogs
• Ensure stability monitoring and supervision of Production and non-Production environments
• Promote and share application production best practices across teams
• Support Agile teams throughout the project lifecycle from design to go-live
• Drive continuous improvement through automation performance optimization and operational excellence

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure &Production Engineering

• Contribute to the definition of technical solutions ensuring resilience security and monitoring by design
• Assemble and promote standardized infrastructure and production services
• Anticipate compliance with architecture security and operational standards
• Support development teams to accelerate and secure deliveries

DevOps & AgileEnablement

• Integrate technical and infrastructure user stories into the Product Backlog
• Implement or coordinate technical user stories (industrialization obsolescence automation)
• Upskill teams on DevOps tools and production best practices

Monitoring &Operations

• Implement and maintain service monitoring and supervision
• Ensure availability of documentation backup and recovery plans (ICP)
• Support incident resolution during releases and production issues
• Define and track service levels and production KPIs

Continuous Improvement

• Propose improvements to application production services
• Identify and share best practices within the organization and globally
