A leading organization in the IntegratedElectric Utilities sector is seeking a highly experienced DevOpsArchitect to lead a large-scale GitLab to GitHub migration.
This is a strategic high-impactrole where you will design and execute the full migration roadmap ensuringtechnical excellence stakeholder alignment and seamless collaboration withglobal DevOps teams.
Your Mission
- Architect and lead the end-to-end migration from GitLab to GitHub
- Design robust migration strategies ensuring scalability and security
- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Embed DevSecOps best practices across workflows
- Leverage Terraform for infrastructure as code and cloud-native deployments
- Collaborate closely with offshore DevOps teams
- Ensure structured coordination and issue resolution during migration phases
- Maintain full stakeholder transparency providing clear updates and managing expectations
What Were Looking For
Experience
- 10 years of experience in DevOps
- 5 years in DevOps Architecture roles
- Proven track record leading large-scale migration projects
Technical Expertise
- Advanced knowledge of GitHub Actions CI/CD and DevSecOps
- Strong hands-on experience with Python Shell scripting YAML and Git
- Solid experience with Terraform and cloud-native architectures
- Deep understanding of automation infrastructure as code and release management
Leadership &Communication
- Strong stakeholder engagement and expectation management
- Clear and continuous communication across distributed teams
- Ability to provide structured updates and maintain project transparency
- Experience coordinating cross-functional and offshore teams
Languages Required
- English: Fluent (Mandatory)
- Portuguese: B2 / C1 level
