Job Summary
TO: All Teaching and Administrative Personnel Brockton Public SchoolsFROM: Dr. Kathleen F. Moran Assistant Superintendent of Human ResourcesSUBJECT: COMMUNITY SCHOOLS SUMMER 2026- AQUATICS INSTRUCTORS & LIFEGUARDSSwim/dive instructors and lifeguards are needed for the Aquatics 2026 Summer Program. Contingent upon funding and adequate enrollment the Community Schools of Brockton will provide an array of enrichment and academic support programs for students at all grade levels. Most programs are scheduled to run Monday June 29 through Friday July 31 2026. Extended Day will run June 29-August 21 2026QUALIFICATIONS: CPR/AED and First Aid Certifications of and experience in swim/dive instruction necessaryDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: drills related to specific instruction for skill development related to swim/dive the safety and behavior of commit to work the entire length of the program and attend duties as directed by program supervisorAll instructor positions begin 30 minutes before the start of the program and end 30 minutes after the program lifeguard positions begin 15 minutes before the start of the program and end 15 minutes after the program closure.
