On behalf of our client we are seeking self-motivated passionate energetic and qualified individuals to fill the position of Warehouse Assistant. The role requires an individual with the drive commitment and capability to meet the demands of the position and consistently deliver against the Companys expectations.
Overview of the Position
To operate and manage the company warehouse efficiently ensuring reliable operations and that all stocked items are properly maintained and ready for use when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Record receipts and issue of stores/spares
- Issue spare parts materials and supplies
- Check requisition and invoices against good and material received
- Check shipments for condition shortage and discrepancies
- Check balances of stocks periodically
- Respond to questions regarding stock items.
- Prepare monthly reports on stock issuances.
- Maintain computerised stores inventory records which include data on inventory costs and supply level to ensure an accurate and cost efficient inventory of supplies.
- Any other reasonable duties as assigned by the team members
Requirements
- Diploma in Warehouse Management Logistics or a related field.
- A minimum of three (3) years experience in a similar warehouse or stores role.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications including inventory management systems and Microsoft Office.
