Job Title: Intern- Finance & Administration Assistant
Location: Tanzania
Contract: 6 months
Reporting to: Head of Programmes
Principle Accountability
The Intern will provide essential support to the Tanzania Programme by supporting Finance & Administrative tasks ensuring smooth and efficient administration support for programs operations.
Specific Accountabilities
Provide finance and administrative support to ensure programme operations are carried out effectively.
Receive acquittals conducts random quality assurance checks input related data in the financial system.
Ensures payments are made against sufficient complete correct and relevant supporting documents duly verified and approved by line managers or budget holders.
Perform routine administrative tasks including filing banking and handling of finance correspondence.
Ensures that all finance relate source documents are available and complete
Liaison between the Kenya Programmes Team and Tanzania Office.
Support coordinate meetings schedules and travel arrangements e.g. hotel bookings transport communication etc.
Assist with payments processing and follow up on invoices
Capture maintain and organize records files and documentation.
Ensure compliance with local administrative regulations and company policies.
Handle general correspondence and communication with relevant stakeholders.
Person Specification
Experience in administration and/or finance accounting.
Proactive approach and ability to work with tight deadlines.
Written and oral communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite
Experience working with CAMFED as a partner or CAMA member.
