The School District of Jenkintown is seeking a student-focused collaborative and visionary leader to serve as its next Superintendent of Schools. The ideal candidate will possess superior communication skills transparent administrative ability a history of managing large capital projects and a collaborative approach to decision making. They will be committed to advancing student success and fostering strong partnerships across the district and broader community.

The School District of Jenkintown located three miles north of Philadelphia serves a diverse community of approximately 4500 residents and educates over 700 students in grades K-12 across two schools - Jenkintown Elementary and Jenkintown Middle/High School and has a long history of educational excellence dating back to 1874. Jenkintown is recognized for its personalized educational environment small class sizes and strong relationships between students families and staff. Jenkintown prioritizes inclusive practices community engagement and academic rigor preparing all students for success in college career and life. The district is committed to continuous improvement guided by strategic goals and priorities including expanding access to mental health and social-emotional supports leveraging digital tools responsibly and enhancing collaborative practices across grade levels.

The School District of Jenkintown is offering a regionally competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Compensation will be determined based on the candidates experience qualifications and alignment with Board criteria. Candidates must possess or be eligible for a Pennsylvania Superintendent Letter of Eligibility. A Masters Degree is required; a doctorate is strongly preferred. Significant experience as a central office leader is preferred and experience managing large capital projects is required.
