Job Summary

Title: LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse
Locations : Denton TX
Job Type: Contract (6 Months)

DESCRIPTION:

The Licensed Vocational Nurse performs advanced vocational nursing work.
Provides for the care treatment and general welfare of individuals who have intellectual disabilities complex medical mental health and/or Behavioral health issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide care for patients manage medication administration and treatments; provide medication education and complete documentation.
Perform computer data entry Receive full training.
Comply with facility Standard Operating Procedures to meet standards for accrediting agencies; specifically ICF-IDD Regulations DSSLC Policy and Directives and HHSC Standards Rules and Directives.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must possess valid LVN license.
Must have at least 2 years of experience
Must comply with HHSC immunization requirements.
Must submit to HHSC required drug test.
Must submit to HHSC required fingerprinting.
Must complete facility and HHSC required training.
