As a Registered Nurse in Behavioral Health you will play a critical role in assessing planning and implementing patient care strategies tailored to individual needs. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care that enhances patient recovery and well-being in a supportive medical practice environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely
- Participate in case management and discharge planning
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards
Requirements
- Graduate of a Registered Nursing program.
- Current BCLS certification
- Current Iowa Registered Nurse License or compact state nursing license giving the ability to practice In Iowa.
