Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
- Provide patient education on health management and disease prevention
- Assist in diagnostic procedures and interpret laboratory results
- Participate in patient rounds and case discussions
- Stay current with medical best practices and guidelines
Requirements
- Active NP or PA licensure in the state of practice
- Recent graduates or entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Basic understanding of internal medicine principles
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Basic proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus
Schedule: 2p-12:30a 6p-4:30a or 12p-12a
Patient Volume: 20-25 admissions per night
Duties: Admissions and cross-cover for acute issues on the floor
Support Staff: MD on call APPs
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
