Description
This full-time on-site position offers an exceptional opportunity for experienced professionals to provide specialized care in a fast-paced pediatric environment.
As a Pediatric ECMO Specialist you will play a critical role in the management and care of patients requiring Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) support. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of patient care contributing to life-saving interventions for our youngest patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert nursing care for pediatric patients on ECMO support
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and ECMO parameters
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for patient management
- Educate families on ECMO procedures and care
- Participate in ECMO protocol development and implementation
- Administer medications and perform critical interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Participate in ongoing training and skill development
Requirements
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing
- Must have 2 years Prior ECMO Specialist Experience
- Must have Prior experience working with the pediatrics or NICU population
