Job Summary

The Agent Acquisition & Support Manager is responsible for the acquisition onboarding training and ongoing support of travel agents using the Aerofares platform in Zimbabwe. The role is accountable for growing an active revenue-generating agent network and driving sustainable ticketed and flown revenue. This position requires a commercially focused individual with strong relationship management skills capable of managing the full agent lifecycle from prospecting through to consistent transaction activity.

Responsibilities:
Agent Acquisition
  • Identify target and engage prospective travel agents within the Zimbabwean market
  • Schedule and conduct meetings with qualified travel agency decision-makers
  • Build and manage a structured pipeline of prospective agents
Product Demonstration & Onboarding
  • Conduct live Aerofares platform demonstrations (virtual or in-person)
  • Onboard new agents onto the system and ensure full access and readiness
  • Deliver structured training on fare search booking ticketing and commercial processes
Agent Support & Relationship Management
  • Provide ongoing operational and sales support to onboarded agents
  • Proactively follow up to ensure agent activation and transaction continuity
  • Resolve day-to-day system or booking-related queries
  • Maintain strong professional relationships with all agents
Revenue & Performance Management
  • Drive agent activation transaction volumes and retention
  • Monitor and report on agent activity and revenue performance
  • Grow ticketed and flown revenue across the agent portfolio
Key Skills:
Essential
  • Experience in the travel industry airline fares or travel agency operations
  • Proven ability to recruit onboard and manage business partners or agents
  • Strong sales relationship management and follow-up skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage performance against targets
Advantageous
  • Knowledge of the Zimbabwean travel trade and agency landscape
  • Experience with airfare booking platforms or GDS environments
