Our client is seeking a highly organised and experienced Bar & Restaurant Operations Manager to oversee daily operations drive financial performance manage staff and ensure an exceptional customer experience. The incumbent will be based in Mutoko.
Salary and Benefits:
- USD 800-1000 net plus Accommodation
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day to day operations of the bar and restaurant ensuring smooth service delivery
- Manage staff scheduling supervision training and performance
- Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve customer concerns promptly
- Monitor financial performance including budgeting cost control and revenue optimisation
- Oversee inventory management stock control and supplier relationships
- Ensure compliance with food safety hygiene and alcohol service regulations
- Implement operational policies SOPs and quality control measures
- Coordinate events promotions and special activities to drive foot traffic and sales
- Maintain a clean safe and compliant working environment
- Work closely with ownership/management to achieve business targets
Key Skills:
- 3 5 years of experience in food and beverage operations
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager Bar Manager or Assistant Manager
- Proven ability to manage high volume bar and restaurant environments
- Strong background in inventory control supplier negotiations and cost management
- Experience in event coordination or venue promotions is an added advantage
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management Business Administration Food & Beverage Management or a related field
