Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Neuro ICU
Location: Syracuse NY 13210
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift 3 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
Schedule: Every other weekend required; some holidays required
Pay Rate: $60$70 per hour
Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Neuro ICU to join an adult Neuro Intensive Care Unit for a night-shift contract assignment. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical care expertise prior Neuro ICU experience and the ability to deliver high-quality patient care independently in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill neurological patients
Conduct accurate and timely patient assessments in an acute care setting
Monitor neurological status vital signs and patient responses to treatment
Collaborate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
Document care accurately using EPIC Electronic Medical Records
Ensure patient safety and compliance with hospital policies and protocols
Qualifications
Active New York State RN license
BLS certification (current or able to obtain prior to start)
Minimum 1 year of Neuro ICU experience (required)
Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience (within the past 2 years)
Level I Trauma Center experience preferred
Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
Travelers must have experience in facilities of equal or greater size and acuity
