Job Summary

Job Description:

An Incharge Crane Maintenance role involvesleading technicians planning/executing preventive & breakdown maintenance managing spare parts ensuring safety (OH&S) and overseeing the overall upkeep of cranes (like STS/RTG)to maximize uptime focusing on mechanical/electrical systems using CMMS and reporting requiring strong leadership technical skills (mechanical/electrical) and problem-solving for heavy lifting equipment.

Job Title: Incharge Crane Maintenance/Crane Maintenance Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:Supervise mentor and coordinate a team of crane mechanics electricians and technicians.
Maintenance Planning:Develop and implement preventive predictive and breakdown maintenance schedules for various crane types (e.g. STS RTG).
Execution & Oversight:Ensure timely high-quality repairs and maintenance managing both shop and field activities.
Safety Compliance:Enforce strict Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) standards and site protocols.
Downtime Reduction:Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimize operational disruption.
Spare Parts Management:Manage inventory of critical spares ensuring availability and cost-effectiveness.
Root Cause Analysis(RCA):Investigate equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Reporting & Documentation:Maintain accurate maintenance logs update CMMS/SAP and prepare reports.
Budgeting:Monitor maintenance expenses and ensure economical operations.
Coordination:Liaise with operations procurement and external contractors.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or relevant technical diploma.
Experience:Proven experience with heavy/port equipment maintenance leading technical teams.
Technical:Strong understanding of hydraulics electrical systems and mechanical components of cranes.
Software:Proficiency in CMMS (e.g. SAP) and MS Office.
Soft Skills:Excellent leadership problem-solving communication organization and time management.

Work Environment:

Flexible hours (may include off-hours/weekends for breakdowns).
Requires strong focus on safety in dynamic industrial settings (e.g. ports construction sites).
