Key Responsibilities

Welding Operations:Perform high-quality
welding (MAG) on carbon steel stainless steel and other materials in flat vertical or overhead positions.
Technical Interpretation:Read and interpret engineering drawings blueprints and welding symbols to understand project specifications.
Equipment Setup:Set up maintain and troubleshoot welding machinery adjusting voltage wire feed speed and gas flow for optimal performance.
Quality & Inspection:Inspect welded joints for defects ensure proper penetration and repair grind or polish components as needed.
Safety Compliance:Adhere to all company safety regulations including wearing protective gear and ensure a clean safe working environment.
Fabrication:Assemble components measure and mark dimensions to ensure accurate fabrication.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Certification:ITI certification or equivalent vocational training in welding.
Experience:Proven hands-on experience as a
or MAG welder preferably 1 years.
Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of metal fabrication welding techniques and machine maintenance.
Physical Stamina:Ability to stand for long periods lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in varied positions.
Detail-Oriented:Exceptional attention to detail to ensure precise high-strength and high-quality welds.

Working Conditions

Industrial environments (manufacturing construction shipbuilding oil & gas).
Exposure to fumes glare heat and loud noise.
