Kitchen Stewarding Executive
Requirements
G.C.E. Ordinary Level qualification or equivalent. A Diploma in Hospitality will be an added advantage.
Minimum of three to five years of experience in kitchen stewarding operations.
At least one to two years in a supervisory or executive role preferably within hotel or resort environment.
Strong knowledge of kitchen hygiene sanitation practices and HACCP standards.
Proven Ability to lead supervise and motivate a stewarding team.
Experience in preparing duty rosters maintain inventory records and compiling operational reports.
Basic computer literacy including MS Excel and email communication.
Scope
Oversee daily stewarding operations including dishwashing pot washing and overall kitchen cleaning activities.
Ensure a continuous supply of clean crockery cutlery glassware and kitchen utensils to support kitchen and service operations.
Coordinate stewarding support buffets banquets and special events.
Ensure strict compliance with hygiene sanitation and food safety standards including HACCP guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of kitchens stores cold rooms and waste disposal areas.
Train and guide stewarding staff on cleaning procedures safety practices and proper handling equipment.
Liaise closely with the kitchen Food & Beverage service teams stores and engineering departments to ensure smooth operations.
Prepare daily weekly and monthly stewarding hygiene and operational reports.
