Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients in emergency situations
- Diagnose and manage acute medical conditions
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Perform necessary procedures as per established protocols
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently
- Educate patients and families on health management and follow-up care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies
- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Experience in emergency medicine preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Current BLS/ACLS certification
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices

No call requirement
Annual Volume: 14000 patients
Support Staff: Emergency Medicine MD
EMR: Meditech
Must be board-certified
