Job Summary
Location: Hybrid - Mrieħel Malta or Remote from Europe
This position reports to the Head of Compliance and will play a key role in building a newly established compliance function.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct Business Due Diligence (KYB) on partners affiliates suppliers and other third parties.
Review and assess corporate structures UBOs ownership and control frameworks.
Perform risk assessments for new and existing business relationships including EDD where required.
Support the onboarding and periodic review of third parties from an AML and sanctions perspective.
Screen entities and individuals for sanctions PEPs adverse media and other risk indicators
Investigate and escalate high-risk findings and potential suspicious activity.
Support the preparation of internal escalation reports.
Assist with the development and maintenance of KYB third-party due diligence and AML policies.
Support regulatory audits inspections and compliance reporting.
What You Bring
2 years experience in Due Diligence KYC/ KYB AML preferably within iGaming or a regulated industry.
Hands-on experience conducting corporate due diligence is preferred.
Hands-on experience with Worldcheck or a comparable tool.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and document AML risk
High attention to detail and sound professional judgement
Ability to manage multiple onboarding and review cases in a fast-paced environment
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have
Relevant AML / Compliance certification
