Provide a basic level of emergency medical services for university sporting events concerts and other large gatherings. Depending on the event Redbird EMS personnel either work independently or in teams.

$17.00 per hour
1. Current State of Illinois EMT license Hours/schedule will be vary depending on frequency of campus events; not to exceed 28 per week. Employees are only paid for hours worked and do not qualify for most benefits including health insurance and retirement with Illinois State University. However Extra Help employees are eligible to participate in the Universitys supplemental retirement savings plans (403b). Applicable retirement information is provided at the time of hire. There is no guarantee that working as Extra Help will lead to or secure permanent addition extra help employees may only work up to 900 hours total during their employment. 2. Minimum six (6) months of medical experience which could include nursing emergency medical/paramedic or CNA experience.

2. Ability to physically access treat and move patients in Illinois State University facilities including but not limited to venues with stairs steep inclines and uneven terrain.Proposed Starting Date
