As a Locum MD in Ophthalmology you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care diagnosing and treating various eye conditions and performing surgical procedures as necessary. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and assessments
- Diagnose and treat a variety of ocular conditions and diseases
- Perform surgical procedures as required including cataract surgery
- Prescribe medications and recommend treatments for eye-related issues
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Provide patient education regarding eye health and preventative measures
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in ophthalmology
Requirements
- MD degree from an accredited medical school
- Current medical license to practice in the state of Browning
- Specialization in Ophthalmology
- Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Strong diagnostic and surgical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p
Patient Volume: 12 per day
Must be board-certified
