As a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality medical care to patients in urgent need. Your expertise will contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our emergency services ensuring that patients receive prompt and appropriate treatment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients
- Conduct thorough assessments and diagnose medical conditions
- Administer appropriate treatment and interventions
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care
- Respond to emergency situations and medical crises effectively
- Stay updated on medical best practices and protocols
- Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Current board certification in Emergency Medicine
- Valid medical license to practice in Florida
- Previous experience in emergency medicine preferred
- Strong clinical and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Flexible Schedule: Day night or weekend shifts
Annual Volume: 9000 patients
11 ER bays including a fully-equipped trauma bay
Admission Rate: 5%
EMR: Meditech
Dictation: M-Modal
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
Paid travel & expenses
