As a Locum Family Medicine Physician you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive primary care managing patient relationships and ensuring high-quality medical care. You will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans and contribute to the overall health and well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality medical care to patients in a primary care setting
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Manage chronic and acute medical conditions
- Collaborate with healthcare team members for integrated patient care
- Educate patients on health management and preventive care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Participate in continuous professional development and training
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid medical license to practice in California
- Experience in Family Medicine or Primary Care preferred
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and community health
- Basic proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8a-5p
Setting: Outpatient
Patient Volume: 20 per day
Patient Population: All ages
Full support staff available
Spanish-speaking preferred
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
