Are you a qualified Science Teacher looking to make a real difference in students lives while working part-time in a fully involved teaching role We are looking for experienced and dedicated teachers. Youll deliver in-person Science teaching across small classes providing personalised support that helps students build confidence skills and academic progress in a structured supportive learning environment.

• This job is in-person in the Kensington and Chelsea area
• Hour(s): up to 21 hours per week
• Day(s) and Time(s): Monday - Friday school hours
• Subjects and Level: KS3 - GCSE Science
• Start date: Immediate
• Contract length: Until July 2026
• Rate of pay: 40 p/hr

What Youll Do

• Deliver in-person Science lessons to small classes adapting teaching to the needs and level of each student.
• Plan and deliver engaging tailored lessons that help students build skills confidence and long-term understanding.
• Assess barriers to learning and create a positive and supportive learning environment
• Monitor progress and produce reports; time spent on report writing and marking tests is paid in addition to teaching hours.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks youre providing subject support in
• Regularly reporting updates to the Education Programmes Manager

Were looking for someone who has:

• A Bachelors degree
• Qualified Teacher Status
• 3 years of tutoring / teaching experience.
• An ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The right to be self employed in the UK
