Job Summary
Are you an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher looking to join a high-achieving secondary school in Northampton We are working with a well-regarded and ambitious school seeking a talented Science Teacher to join their thriving department on a full-time permanent basis starting ASAP. This opportunity is suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
The Role
You will teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the opportunity to teach KS5 depending on your specialism (Biology Chemistry or Physics). The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons that promote curiosity practical skills and strong subject knowledge. You will contribute to curriculum development assessment planning and the wider life of the Science faculty.

Responsibilities
Deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3/4 (KS5 optional)
Monitor and assess student progress effectively
Support practical investigations and STEM initiatives
Contribute to departmental planning and enrichment activities
Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement
Requirements
Degree in a Science-related discipline
QTS or PGCE
Strong classroom management skills
Passion for inspiring young people
Salary
MPS/UPS (dependent on experience).
