Job Description
A highly reputable healthcare system in New Hampshire is searching for a Registered Nurse for its Cardiac Intermediate Care this role you will care for patients requiring advanced cardiac monitoring and specialized nursing interventions bridging the gap between intensive care and general cardiology units. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality evidence-based cardiac care.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions including arrhythmias heart failure post-cardiac procedures and post-interventional cardiology.
- Monitor hemodynamics telemetry and cardiac rhythms; identify document and escalate changes in patient status.
- Administer cardiac medications titrations and treatments per physician orders.
- Collaborate with cardiologists APPs respiratory therapists and other healthcare professionals to execute patient-centered care plans.
- Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions medications lifestyle changes and discharge plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policy and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
- A BSN is required.
- Active RN License.
- At least 3 years of inpatient experience is required.
