Description
This on-site contract position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our dedicated medical practice providing top-notch anesthetic care to patients in a collaborative healthcare environment.
As a Locum CRNA you will play a vital role in our anesthesiology team delivering high-quality anesthesia services while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This position involves working closely with surgeons and other medical professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels accordingly
- Collaborate with surgical teams to develop anesthesia care plans
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
- Provide preoperative assessments and postoperative care
- Educate patients and families about anesthesia procedures and risks
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Participate in continuous education and training initiatives
Requirements
- Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Associate degree in nursing or related field
- Experience in anesthesiology preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment
- Knowledge of anesthesia equipment and monitoring devices
- Current CPR and ACLS certifications are a plus
Schedule: 8 10 and 12-hour shifts available
No call shifts
28 anesthetizing sites
Cases: General OB pediatrics GI endo cath lab neuro and thoracic
Care Team Model: 1:3 or 1:4 supervision
EMR: Epic
