Job Summary

The role covers the design implementation and maintenance of an internal analytics platform that collects cleans and structures data from public and proprietary sources enabling management and investment teams to generate insights monitor performance and support decision-making across the portfolio.

Responsibilities:

To develop a firm-wide data strategy that supports investment portfolio management and fundraising activities.
To lead the development of robust data infrastructure that integrates disparate sources of information from portfolio companies into a centralized analytics system.
To develop an implementation roadmap with short medium and long-term priorities and resource requirements.
Leverage existing data analytics visualization and reporting tools that allow investment and management teams to identify trends risks and opportunities.
To ensure data accuracy consistency and usability for reporting performance tracking and forecasting.
To enable scalability in the analytics processes that support portfolio growth and investor reporting requirements.
Integrate ESG and impact data collection management and reporting into core business processes.

Key Skills:

Strong knowledge of data integration tools ETL processes and APIs.
Proficiency in SQL and database management (e.g. PostgreSQL MySQL MS SQL).
Experience with data visualization platforms (e.g. Power BI Tableau Looker).
Programming skills in Python or R for data processing and analytics.
Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g. AWS Azure GCP).
Strategic thinking with ability to align data initiatives with long-term business goals.
Ability to manage timelines deliverables and multi-stakeholder inputs.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Keen interest and understanding in the application of technology in business operations.
Excellent communication skills to liaise with portfolio company teams and internal stakeholders.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams.

Qualifications:

Bachelors or masters degree or equivalent in computer science Data Science Information Systems or a related field.
2 or more years of experience in analytics systems development data engineering or business intelligence.
