Job Summary

Our client in the Freight & Logistics industry is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales/ Business Development Associate with a strong background to join their team.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and target new business opportunities to achieve sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends competitors and customer needs.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure sales deals.
  • Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers and warehouse staff to manage stock efficiently.
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize the supply chain and reduce costs.
  • Resolve any logistical issues that may arise to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities customer interactions and logistics operations.
  • Prepare regular sales and logistics reports for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Provide regular updates to customers regarding order status delivery schedules and any changes.
  • Collect feedback from customers to identify areas for improvement and enhance the overall customer experience.
Key Skills:
  • Proven experience in sales preferably within the logistics or supply chain industry.
  • Strong understanding of logistics processes supply chain management and inventory control.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software MS Office Suite and logistics management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Logistics Supply Chain Management or a related
