Fullstack Software Engineer - Backend DevOps Focus
$160K - $180K super Hybrid (2 days on-site) - Sydney Building Tech That Protects Real-World Assets

Youll join at a foundational moment; owning the design and delivery of a brand-new customer-facing platform while embedding modern DevOps practices across the engineering lifecycle.

Youll thrive here if you

Have solid experience as a backend-leaning fullstack engineer especially in and cloud platforms
Are strong in AWS cloud infrastructure CI/CD scripting and infrastructure-as-code
Have exposure to DevOps or SRE practices even if not in a dedicated role
Are proactive hands-on and enjoy shaping systems from scratch in early-stage environments

What youll do

Greenfield platform development in TypeScript/ and Python
Building and owning CI/CD pipelines AWS infra (CDK) and observability systems
Setting standards for how code is shipped secured and monitored
Collaborating with edge and device platform teams to integrate real-time data from camera systems and sensors
Laying infrastructure foundations for future data products - think LLM pipelines and data engineering not just basic dashboards

The tech stack

Languages: TypeScript () Python
Cloud: AWS (CDK) Terraform (some exposure to GCP/Azure/Bicep a bonus)
Infra & Tooling: CI/CD pipelines API integrations monitoring alerting DevSecOps practices
Frontend: React (for dashboarding and UX)

Nice to have (but not dealbreakers)

Experience with real-time systems or IoT products
Exposure to video streaming device management or security systems

Youll be joining the Core Infra and Device Platform team and your impact will be immediate and foundational. Expect high trust big problems and real ownership.
