Job Summary
Position Summary
This role is responsible for creating high-quality technical documentation and illustrations by leveraging mechanical engineering understanding. The position requires strong communication skills and close collaboration with subject-matter experts.
Work Youll Do
Interpret engineering drawings and 3D models to develop accurate technical content
Create clear technical documents and supporting illustrations
Collaborate with and interview SMEs to gather inputs
Organize and structure information effectively for various documentation outputs
Ensure consistency clarity and quality across all technical materials
Team
You will be part of a technical documentation team that works closely with engineering product and SME groups to produce accurate and user-focused technical content.
Basic Qualifications
57 years of experience as a Technical Writer with a mechanical background
Ability to understand engineering drawings and 3D models
Ability to create technical writing and illustrations
Ability to interview SMEs and translate inputs into documentation
Good communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
Experience working in Windchill for document management
