Job Summary
- Study Customer Requirements & develop machine concept and systems requirements as per scope of delivery for special-purpose machines process machines assembly and testing machines
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software Autodesk Inventor. Develop detailed drawings and specifications for components and assemblies
- Analyze and optimize designs for cost manufacturability and performance.
- Perform stress analysis and other engineering calculations to ensure design integrity.
- Create and maintain engineering documentation such as BOMs drawings and test plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets customer requirements and troubleshoot and resolve design issues.
- Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives and maintain design standards and best practices
- Implement design improvements based on project learning and industry trends. Stay abreast with technological advancements and best practices
- Support and ensure compliance with ISO audits RB guidelines central directives Statutory & Regulatory authorities machine safety CE norms UL Standards for export machines.
Skills Required :
- Proficient in 3D model software preferebaly Autodesk Inventor
- FEA analysis using Inventor / Ansys
- Statistical tolerance calculations / GD&T
Additional knowledge / experience :
- Automation technologies applicable for automotive industry
- Understanding of manufacturing process
- Materials and Heat treatment / Surface treatment
- Industry standards codes and regulations
Qualifications :
B.E - Mechanical
Additional Information :
Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in design of special-purpose machines / process machines / assembly and testing machines is a must
