Job Summary

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

Automation Development: Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Java.
Web Testing: Develop robust automated test suites for web applications using Playwright and Selenium WebDriver.
BDD Integration: Write and maintain feature files and step definitions using Cucumber to ensure clear communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Performance Testing: Conduct load and stress testing to identify system bottlenecks and ensure application stability under high traffic.
Defect Management: Identify document and track software defects to resolution using tools like Jira.
CI/CD Collaboration: Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline (e.g. Jenkins GitHub Actions) for continuous quality feedback.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Core Language: Strong proficiency in Java (OOPs concepts Collections Exceptions).
Automation Tools: Hands-on experience with Playwright and Selenium.
Frameworks: Solid understanding of Cucumber (BDD) and Page Object Model (POM).
Performance Tools: Experience with performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter or Gatling).
Testing Basics: Deep knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and bug life cycle.
Version Control: Proficiency with Git for source code management.
