Sproxil is seeking a highly strategic entrepreneurial and forward-thinking Business Innovation Lead to identify emerging market needs conceptualize new product or service opportunities validate early demand with real customers and secure the first contracts before handoff to the Sales team for scale.
This role is ideal for someone with strong market research commercial strategy financial modeling problem-solving and client-facing skills with the ability to translate unstructured opportunities into revenue-generating solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Market Discovery & Opportunity Mapping
- Conduct continuous market research to identify unmet needs emerging trends and innovation gaps across relevant industries.
- Analyze customer pain points competitive offerings regulatory trends and potential market size.
- Validate market assumptions through interviews field visits and data-driven analysis.
2. New Solution Development
- Work with internal teams (Tech Sales Product) to conceptualize solutions tailored to verified market needs.
- Translate customer insights into value propositions solution designs and problem statements.
- Lead feasibility assessments and define clear use cases for proposed solutions.
3. Business Case & Financial Modeling
- Develop business cases for new solutions including:
- Market sizing & segmentation
- Total Addressable Market (TAM)
- Go-to-market strategy
- Pricing model
- Basic financial projections (revenue forecast unit economics ROI cost structures).
4. Early Commercialization & Pilot Sales
- Engage potential clients to pitch new solutions and secure pilot contracts.
- Manage the full lifecycle of early commercial engagements from proposal to close.
- Test solution viability in real-world environments and collect feedback for refinement.
5. Internal Collaboration & Handover
- Work closely with Product Tech and Sales teams to ensure the successful transition from pilot to scalable commercial offering.
- Document the MVP requirements customer insights competitive analysis and business case.
6. Strategic Leadership
- Advise leadership on innovation strategy and market expansion initiatives.
- Identify partnership or ecosystem opportunities that support solution success.
- Monitor external shifts that could impact new business opportunities.
