Job Summary
The Team Lead Sales (Financial Sector) will be responsible for driving the companys sales and business development activities within Lagos and its environs. The role involves developing and executing innovative commercial strategies that foster business growth market expansion and customer acquisition particularly within the financial services sector.
The ideal candidate is a proactive and strategic sales leader with proven experience in ICT telecoms or banking sales capable of delivering revenue growth leading high-performing teams and strengthening client relationships.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business growth and profitability.

Lead motivate and manage the sales team to meet and exceed individual and group targets.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities and emerging markets in the financial and technology sectors.

Represent the company at key industry events to enhance brand awareness and market positioning.

Maintain an in-depth understanding of company products and services to provide tailored solutions to clients.

Build and sustain strong client relationships through effective communication and customer service excellence.

Collaborate with the Head of Sales & Marketing to drive consistent lead generation and market penetration.

Prepare and present accurate cost analyses quotations and proposals to prospective clients.

Track analyze and report sales performance metrics to ensure alignment with strategic business objectives.

Support the Head of Sales & Marketing in developing and executing annual business and resource plans.

Ensure proper utilization of CRM tools and digital platforms for lead management and sales tracking.

Train coach and guide sales representatives to enhance performance and maintain compliance with company standards.

Work closely with the technical and IT teams to resolve client issues and provide tailored solutions.

Uphold the companys core values by ensuring adherence to ethical standards and the Code of Conduct.

Stay updated on industry trends market intelligence and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.

Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Chief of Business or management.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration Marketing Economics or a related field.

A Masters Degree will be an added advantage.

Minimum of 5 - 7 years relevant experience in ICT Telecoms or Banking Sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a target-driven sales environment.

Strong understanding of banking operations financial products and digital transformation solutions.

Membership of relevant professional associations (e.g. NIMN CIMN) is an added advantage.
