Job Summary
Applications are invited for the part-time positionAdjunct Instructor of Computer Sciencestarting in August 2026 at Virginia Wesleyan University. APh.D. or Masters degree in Computer Science or closely related area is preferred. Candidates with a Masters degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Computer Science will be considered. Experience in teaching college-level mathematics is preferred. Interested candidates may apply at. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teach lower-level Computer Science courses (Java)
- Comply withFERPA regulations.
- Coordinate with Academic Support Services as needed.
- The department will provide syllabi and other course materials as needed.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. or Masters with at least 18 graduate hours in Computer Science.
- College teaching experience is preferred.
