Our Compliance team ensures Franklin Templeton operates within regulatory standards and mitigates risk. We partner with business units to maintain integrity and protect client
trust. Joining us means working in a collaborative high-impact environment where you gain exposure to global compliance practices and develop expertise in financial regulations.
Core Responsibilities
Support FTIA and other group companies compliance MLRO and governance activities.
Guide business unit management on local compliance risk issues policies and procedures.
Act as lead compliance support for local business units in training.
Collaborate with Head of Compliance Greater China to identify significant compliance risks and independently review/update policies procedures and practices.
Analyze new regulatory developments and articulate business impact.
Participate in compliance monitoring and testing including marketing materialreviews fund marketing due diligence questionnaires RFPs and client onboarding.
Lead special projects.
Complete risk assessments and develop compliance monitoring programs.
Prepare reports and presentations with guidance from senior Global Compliance management.
Work with Head of Compliance Greater China and first- and second-line teams (Risk Governance Distribution Legal) to recommend steps to mitigate regulatory risks.
Coordinate regulatory exams and responses to inquiries/findings with senior Global Compliance guidance.
Serve as liaison between regulators and Franklin Templeton.
Handle ad hoc responsibilities.
Experience Education & Certifications
Bachelors degree required preferably in business or legal studies
Minimum 5 years experience in a compliance role at a regulated financial service or law firm advising financial services clients; strong preference for asset management experience
Preference for prior experience of interaction/ engagement with the regulator
Knowledge of Digital Assets is an advantage
Technical & Soft Skills
Strong investment acumen and understanding of regulations in jurisdictions where FTIA operates (e.g. Hong Kong and China)
Excellent interpersonal written and oral communication skills; able to influence across varying sophistication levels
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; capable of delivering viable solutions under time pressure
Excellent organizational skills self-starter highly motivated quick learner; able to work independently and in teams
