Pay | : | HK$96142 to HK$140903 (HMPS Point 9 to 19) per month including Monthly Allowance Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance. |
Key Responsibilities:
The SEO is responsible to facilitate research at both hospital and specialty level and provide executive support to Research Office of HKCH in the following areas:
provide executive support to the HKCH Research Steering Committee and the various committees and workgroups under its governance such as the HKCH Clinical Trial Centre and HKCH Research Laboratory Management Committee;
manage the HKCH research fellowship programmes research award programmes and research grant programmes;
conduct ethics approval of clinical research advise on matters pertaining to research ethics and proactively monitor research studies until their completion or termination;
establish and maintain standard operating procedures and record forms for ethics review and clinical research oversight in compliance with HA requirements;
recruit Research Office members coordinate training and maintain members records;
prepare report on the status of operation of Research Office and any significant issue with respect to the clinical studies under the Research Offices oversight;
provide support to facilitate external audits coordinated by HA Research Office and related regulatory authorities;
create and maintain necessary records with respect to ethics and scientific reviews and oversight of clinical studies; and
promote a research culture and the awareness and understanding of ethical issues and good conduct in research throughout the Hospital.
Entry Requirements:
1.A university degree or equivalent.
2. At least 7 years post-qualification managerial experience in management function / respective profession / function of the post of which at least 3 years experience is in middle management / professional level (e.g. EO I or equivalent level).
