Job Summary

Our client a reputable organisation operating in the technical and commercial project services industry is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to lead operations drive business development and support long term strategic growth. The role requires a strong technical foundation solid management capability and experience overseeing complex projects.

Salary and Benefits:

Main Responsibilities:

Oversee day to day operations and ensure high quality service delivery.
Lead and develop teams responsible for support maintenance and client servicing.

Coordinate with contractors and external partners to maintain performance standards.

Identify new opportunities within the technical and project services market.
Conduct market assessments and prepare targeted pitches for potential clients.
Collaborate with technical teams to create project scopes and commercial proposals.
Lead contract negotiations with support from the internal legal team.
Ensure compliance with internal governance credit reviews and due diligence processes.
Manage regulatory submissions and approvals for active projects.
Oversee all logistics equipment coordination and supplier interactions.
Act as the primary link between clients internal teams and contractors.
Monitor risks and ensure projects are delivered on time and within agreed parameters.
Work with the CEO to strengthen the organisations presence in established markets.
Support planning for future large-scale projects and expansion initiatives.

Qualifications:

Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
At least 5 years of experience in technical operational or project driven environments.
