Responsibilities:
- Prepare process and verify monthly payroll for all employees
- Maintain and update employee payroll records and files
- Ensure accurate calculation of salaries benefits deductions and allowances
- Reconcile payroll data with attendance and HR records
- Process statutory deductions such as PAYE NSSA and pension contributions and ensure payments are made on time
- Prepare and submit monthly payroll reports and summaries
- Handle payroll-related queries from employees professionally and confidentially
- Liaise with HR and Finance departments to ensure accurate and up-to-date employee information
- Assist with internal and external payroll audits
- Maintain compliance with labour laws tax requirements and company policies
Key skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Solid understanding of payroll legislation and statutory deductions
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Proficiency in payroll software
- Strong analytical and numerical ability
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
Qualifications:
- Degree in Human Resources or a related field
- At least 3-5 years of experience in payroll or salaries administration
- Must have experience with Belina
