Location: Harare or Bulawayo Zimbabwe
Type: Full-Time Permanent

With operations spanning over many countries the company is recognised for its innovation reliability and sustainable farming solutions that enhance productivity and operational efficiency across the agricultural sector.

Role Summary

The Sales Manager Zimbabwe will be responsible for developing and growing the companys customer base across the region with a strong focus on new business acquisition relationship management and technical sales support. This role requires a confident self-driven agricultural sales professional capable of identifying opportunities managing long-term client relationships and representing an international brand with professionalism and integrity. The position reports directly to the Export Manager and involves close collaboration with technical logistics and service teams based in South Africa and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a territory sales strategy for Zimbabwe targeting poultry pig and livestock producers integrators and contractors.
  • Identify and engage new customers through cold calling farm visits referrals and trade shows.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations explaining technical features benefits and return on investment.
  • Liaise with technical and installation teams to ensure project requirements are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Prepare quotations proposals forecasts and monthly activity reports for management review.
  • Monitor market trends competitor activity and pricing developments sharing insights with management.
  • Manage the sales pipeline track conversions and report on performance metrics.
  • Ensure timely invoicing payment follow-up and financial accuracy in collaboration with the finance department.
  • Attend training sessions exhibitions trade shows and customer education events as required.
  • Provide after-sales follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and identify new business opportunities.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree or Diploma in Agriculture Agribusiness Marketing or Engineering (preferred).
  • Minimum 3-5 years proven sales or business development experience ideally within agriculture agro-processing or equipment supply.
  • Solid understanding of livestock poultry or farm production systems.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
  • Valid drivers licence and willingness to travel extensively across Zimbabwe and the region.
