Market Development Representative - Phase 3 Clinical Trial Specialist

Role overview:
TraceLink is looking for experienced Market Development Representatives (MDR) to join our growing global team. As an MDR you will work together with our global Business Management Commercial Operations and Sales team members to intensely research companies qualify and mature TraceLinks outbound & inbound leads and diligently engage prospects to organize meetings with Sales Executives (SEs) and Account Executives (AEs).
This role is for a highly motivated individual who will be focused on generating qualified opportunities for TraceLinks new logo acquisition team - clinical companies planning for their first product launch. This individual will act as a Market Development Representative (MDR) to perform outbound prospecting for targeted accounts working in conjunction with the Sales Executives in each territory (US EMEA APAC) assigned to the MDR to set up qualified meetings. You will also need to follow up on MQLs generated from tradeshows partner-driven events digital marketing campaigns and direct inquiries.
Responsibilities:
Understanding of how clinical trials work - different phases what is studied in the different phases of the trials and where commercialization fits in
Deeply research prospect accounts through public and private data sources
Constantly monitor public information sources to augment accounts leads and opportunities with data to enhance prospecting effectiveness for successful deal closure
Develop personalized strategies for outbound prospecting using email cold calling social media and other channels to engage prospects to increase engagement and leads
Qualify and score inbound leads to identify and prioritize key companies & personas for maximum campaign effectiveness
Quickly follow up on marketing campaigns to create and maintain account intelligence briefs for Sales Executives (SEs) to prepare them for meetings
Leverage teammates (Managers SEs and MDRs) to develop targeted lists call and email strategies and messaging to drive opportunities and prospecting activities
Work with partners including Marketing & Sales Operations and Business Management to enrich cleanse and triage account data
Engage with functions such as Business Management Marketing and Sales Development Representatives to understand business priorities
Document activity in Salesforce report and present qualitative and quantitative results every week
Qualifications:
0-2 years of Experience in Sales Development Business Development or similar roles
Ability to effectively research qualify and react to leads and business opportunities
BA/BS or equivalent educational degree
Good to have experience with the Life Sciences industry
Good to have experience with Marketo Outreach or similar applications
Good knowledge of G Suite (Docs Sheets Slides) and MS Office
Good professional communication style through both written and verbal channels
Ability to work in a fast-paced international start-up environment
Ability to work EST shift (18:00-03:00)
