Why this role matters

We are seeking a talented and proactive SDET to join our quality engineering team responsible for end-to-end testing across our product portfolio. As an SDET you will play a critical role in ensuring the high quality stability and security of both client-side (Windows) and server-side (web & appliance) applications built using a diverse set of technologies.

What youll do:

Manage the end-to-end test process by overseeing test data and environment setup ensuring robust support for functional integration regression and performance testing scenarios.
Build automated test frameworks for Windows and web-based applications enabling efficient testing cycles and maximizing code quality across multiple platforms.
Design comprehensive test plans test cases and test scripts for applications developed in languages and technologies such as C C# Java Ruby HTML CSS JavaScript/TypeScript and Angular.
Partner with Developers Product Owners and DevOps Engineers to ensure thorough test coverage seamless integrations and smooth product releases.
Lead code reviews for test automation code identifying gaps mentoring peers and driving the adoption of best practices in software quality throughout the engineering team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams during Agile ceremoniesincluding planning sessions daily standups and retrospectivesto ensure alignment and high-quality deliverables.
Advise on emerging trends in software quality automation and DevOps proactively suggesting improvements and innovative practices to enhance overall product stability and security.

What you will bring:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a closely related field.
Proven programming expertise in C and/or C# with a solid foundation in software engineering principles.
Extensive experience in SQL and database automation testing.
Strong hands-on skills in testing web applications and REST APIs with a working knowledge of HTML CSS JavaScript/TypeScript and Angular for scripting and automation.
Familiarity with Java and Ruby for File Director Appliance/Server testing is a plusor a keen willingness and ability to learn new programming languages quickly.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain robust UI and API automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium Cypress or similar solutions.
Proficiency in Windows client-side application testing including installers services and system integration.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g. Azure DevOps Jenkins) and an understanding of automation in DevOps workflows.
Strong grasp of Agile and Scrum methodologies with practical exposure to modern DevOps practices.
Exceptional analytical debugging and problem-solving skills.
Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities in cross-functional Agile teams.

Nice to have:

Hands-on experience in security performance or load testing.
Automation background in both Windows and Linux environments.
Knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) for appliance or server-side testing scenarios.
Understanding of virtualization technologies cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and strategies for cross-platform testing.
