Hospital : Kwai Chung Hospital
Pay : HK$17286 - HK$26908 (HGPS Point 2 - 9) per month including Monthly Allowance
Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform clerical duties including patient valuables (PV) handling patient registration issues on Patient Master Index (PMI) request of medical reports and data access etc.
2. Perform receptionist duties and answer internal and external enquiries.
3. Manage PV records and medical records including filing retrieval tracing and disposal etc.
4. Handle data input verify and compile statistics.
5. Handle correspondence and documents including filing and record keeping.
6. Screen keep record of and distribute incoming / outgoing correspondence.
7. Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors.
Entry Requirements:
1. (a) Passes in 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination including English Language (Syllabus B) Chinese Language and Mathematics or equivalent.
OR
(b) 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education attaining the level specified below:
- Level 2 in English Language Chinese Language and Mathematics; and
- Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects/ Attained in Applied Learning subjects/ Grade E in Other Language subjects; or equivalent.
2. Ability to perform typing word processing and/or Chinese word processing.
Preferred Attributes / Exposure:
1. With working experience in handling patient valuables medical records management and public enquiries.
2. Knowledge of and experience in HA systems such as PVIS IPAS OPAS CMS MRTS and PDARTS would be an advantage.
3. Knowledge of other common office automation (e.g. E-mail Internet/Intranet etc.) and PC applications (e.g. MS Word Excel Pivot Table V look up PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing).
4. Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin).
5. Able to handle multi-tasks and work under pressure.
6. Honest reliable self-motivated independent good interpersonal skills and pleasant personality
